Meet the Author

Diana Juergens spent five years on active duty as an Army aviator. She met her husband in flight school and they served together at their first duty assignment. Two years after the birth of their first daughter, Diana felt called to resign her commission and take on the role of Army wife and mom. For twenty-nine years, Diana served her husband, her eight beautiful daughters, and her country, as she supported her soldier and the military community. As a military spouse, she completed thirteen moves and faced six combat and countless training deployments. Along the way, she discovered her passion to support and encourage other military families to embrace the call God has placed on their lives. She served as the Family Readiness Group leader at the company and battalion level and has filled leadership roles in MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) and PWOC (Protestant Women of the Chapel). She is still passionate to support military families, which now includes three of her adult children. Diana is an avid runner, loves to travel, and has recently discovered that being a grandmother is her favorite hobby. Diana has been married to her soldier for thirty-three years, and she and her husband Rich live in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where they continue to invest in the military community.
